The Royal Luthorian Army would like to announce its new plan for organization, the Rapid Expansion Program. This plan will enable the Army to increase in size in the event of total war. The King’s Own Rifles and Cavalry Regiments will be upgraded to brigade status, with each battalion and squadron being upgraded to regiments, each with only a single battalion/squadron during peacetime. However each will also have two independent headquarters companies that will be able to expand into two more battalions in the event of declared hostilities. Each RAC Battery would also be upgraded to Regiment status, with a single battery in peacetime, once again to be increased to four batteries in times of war. The Parachute and Marine Battalion will maintain battalion status, and instead be transferred to the new Commando Regiment. Though this would be more effective with conscription, the battalions would originally draw from volunteers, unless conscription is made legal.
