Several people, including the Minister of State, have stated that they don't like the official titles of the members of the MoS's cabinet: Vice Minister of State for (fill in the blank).
I'd like to propose an amendment to change the titles to the following: Minister of State: Cheif Minister VMS Defense: Defense Minister VMS Foreign Affairs: Foreign Minister VMS Interior Affairs: Interior Minister VMS for the Treasury: Finance Minister

I like them, but I guess I don't mind too much either way

i liked them, but Vice Minister of State for this that and the other tends to get a bit cumbersom. And, if you notice, Minister Clark already referes to the VMSs as Mininstry of THis, that, or the other.

I need a motion and a second to take this before parliament.

I will, if given the chance, write a formal amendment, and have it ready for you Wednesday.

We don't need a motion to take it to Parliament. All that is needed is a Parliament member to author the bill. If one says that they will, then a motion is not needed. I could simply have this thread moved into Parliament and claim it as my own and no motion would be needed.
Thank You and Humbly,

By law you must have a motion and a second to take it before the parliament.

is that in the constitution or in a law passed by the parliament (not that it would matter, I just wanted to know where it was found). And for the record, I like Prince Kilikopellas idea of authoring a bill directly into discussion.

An address to His Majesty’s Grand Parliament On a Suggested Amendment to the Constitution of the United Kingdom of Luthoria To the Honorable Member of Parliament, and the Minister of State, It is my priviledge to present to you today an amendment which I proposed at the request of others dealing with the titles of the Minister of State and the Vice Ministers of State. While I began to write this out, it became clear that to change the titles would, by its very nature, restructure the set up of the “Ministry of State”, so I set about to do so in a way that would not greatly alter the authority or privileges of the Minister of State or the Vice Ministers of State. I would like to thank you all for your time, and stress how important I think this amendment is for our nation, and urge the members of this parliament to make haste and approve of it as soon as possible. I would also like to state that if anyone would like the original documents that were typed on my computer of either this amendment or the Reform Bill, I will e-mail them to anyone upon request.
