April 1, 1014- Breeden Boru, son of the great Brian Boru, is born Unknown, 1014- Brian Boru dies May, 1032- Breeden Boru takes his mother Katrin and over 1013 warriors/settelers (711 men, 289 women, 12 children) in search of Western Ireland (Iartharneire), a mythical western Isle supposedly north and west of Ireland. They sail for nearly a month. June 4, 1032- Breeden's Fleet get lost in a fog. When they reamerge, they are off the cost of an unknown isalnd. When Breeden and his men arrive on the land, he calls it Iartharneire, the mythical land of legend (really, this the southern Island of the Limerick Isles). The land is hard and rocky, with mountains very near the shore. June 10, 1032- Breeden's men crown him King Breeden of Iartharneire. June 30, 1032- King Breeden discover a valley in the mountains full of large emerald stones jutting up from the ground. There is a spring that feeds a river that flows from the valley to near where King Breeden's camp, called Breedensbaile (Breeden's Town), is located. July 10, 1032- King Breeden moves his tent from Breedensbaile to the valley, called Gleann de Smaragaid. July 20, 1032- Construction is begun on Smaragaid Cathair (Emerald City), which is to be King Breeden's capital. September 3, 1032- Rishalla (king's hall), a stone/wood structure built as King Breeden's small palace, is complete. The Riseaglais (kings church), is nearing completion September 10, 1032- The first of the Great Emeralds is cut from the area designated the quarry, an offshoot of the valley that is filled with Emeralds, and placed at the top of the Riseaglais. November 23, 1032 - The settlers come into contact with the Keeltish, a native kingdom on the present day main island of the Limerick Isles. The Keeltish (called the Celtic, by the settlers) had just begun settling this island, which in their toung (which greatly resembeled anceint english) the Eemralhd Isla (Emerald Isle). The Keeltish begin to call the settelers Eemralhdans (source of the modern Emeraldians). Demeber 20, 1032- The walls (mostly wooden) of Smaragaid Cathair, known by most as just Smaragaid, are complete. Most of the 1035 Eemralhdans live in the city, with about 175 living in Breedensbaile, the port city where the small fleet is anchored. January 13, 1033- King Breeden meets with King Charrals (pronounced Charles), of the Keeltish, in the Keeltish settlement of Eemrallahba (Emerald Bay). January 15, 1033- Treaty of Eemrallahba signed by both kings, giving all of Iartharneire/Eemralhd Isla to King Breeden. Most of the 275 Keeltish in Eemrallahba stay in the city. January 30, 1033- first official census taken by king Breeden. There are now 1314 people in Iartharneire. 907 in Smaragaid, 103 in Breedensbaile, and 214 in Eemrallahba. May 13, 1033- King Breeden calls for the top ten warriors in his army to come to Smaragaid to help him create a new governing system. He appoints 2 of them Dukes, one over Breedensbaile, and one over Eemrallahba. Then he appoints 3 of them as Lord Judges, a hereditary judiciary, one for each of the three towns. He appoints 3 as Lord Generals, one over each of the military forces in each of the towns. He appoints 1 as Lord Governor of Gleann de Smaragaid, and one as his Lord Viceroy. These men signe the Articles of the Kingdom (Airteagals de Riocht), which established the rules by which this new kingdom , stiled as Emralhda, on May 27. Then the king issues his first official royal edict, saying that a census would be taken the first month of every year. June 2, 1033- King Breeden issues the Edict of Religion, requiring all citizens to convert to Christianity, and banning the 'pagan' religions of the Keeltish. This was done rather easy, being as the Keeltish religion was Monotheistic, and seemed similar to that of Christianity in a few ways. January 10, 1034- Population now at 2110, with natural birth and some immigration from Keeltica. 1287 in Smaragaid, 365 in Breedensbaile, and 458 in Eemrallahba. March 17, 1034, King Breeden breaks ground on the Royal Library (Rioga Leabharlann). May 3, 1034. the Queen Mother Katrin dies, at the age of 48. She is buried in the Vale of the Golden Emeralds, a small offshoot of the main valley, where the Emeralds turned gold in the sun. June 2, 1034- in honor of the Late Queen Katrin's birthday, King Breeden unfurls the new flag of the Kingdom, a green banner with a Golden Harp (playing the harp was his mother's favorite hobby). December 27, 1034- King Breeden repeals the first royal edict, and then declares that a census will only be taken every 5 years. April 19, 1035- King Breeden becomes engaged to the daughter of the Duke of breedensbaile, Peig. June 3, 1035- King Breeden marries Peig of Breedensbaile. May 9, 1036- Queen Peig gives birth to Prince Patrick September 4, 1036- the Royal Fleet, sailing north of Emralhda, come in contact with the Arrani, the people who inhabit the northern Isle of present day Aran (Prov of Cork and Kerry). They aren't really unified. Trade soon begins with some of the southern most tribes, called the Karaks. September 10, 1036. work begins on building a much larger Rishalla November 14, 1036- Emralhdan sailors discover the Korrkan tribes of the Arrani, on the northern part of Aran. they are much more fearce than the southern Karak tribes. December 20, 1036- Construction is finished on the Rioga Leabharlann, which is topped with a dome of emerald. Many of the greate buildings of Smaragaid, the Rishalla (still under construction), the Riseaglais, the Rioga Leabharlann, and several other buildings, are completley made of stone. Also, the Riscearnóg (King's Square), is comletely paved with stone. January 9, 1039- there are 3437 people in Emralhda, 1943 in Smaragaid, 493 in Breedensbaile, 538 in Eemrallahba, 214 in Nua Luimneach (New Limerick, named after Luimneach, the port from which Breeden's Fleet left Ireland), 249 rural. September 8, 1041- the Preistest Glibla, of the Arrani, appoints the High Cheif of the Korrkan tribes, Milgal Pretka as Grand Cheif over all the Arrani. September 14, 1041- GC Milgal declares that the foreign religion of the Imrrall (the Emralhdans) is vile, and must be purged from the land, as must all Imrall. September 22, 1041- Milgal raids and destroys a missionary settlement in Karaki. All of the Emraldhans are killed. Octoer 1, 1041- King Breeden learns of the attack. He is outraged, and calls on his three Lord Generals to raise up an army to retaliate against Milgal. Novenber 3, 1041- Emralhdan army arrives in Karaki, and begins to seek out all loyal tribes. about 1/3 of all the Karaki tribes dislike Milgal, and join up to help the Emralhdans to fight him. December 4, 1041- the Emralhdan/Karaki army arrives at Milgalma, capital of Milgal's kingdom. they lay seige to the city for over a week. Then an army arrives to help Milgal, and the Emralhdan's are forced to retreat, or be surrounded. December 31, 1041- Battle of the Milgal Plains. Although the battle is a succes and Milgal is killed, King Breeden, who is only 27, is seriously wounded. He is sent back to Smaragaid. The army returns victorious. However, King Breeden comes down with fever. he struggles for months, improves several times. April 3, 1042- King Breeden, who had lost conciousness on March 31, dies, at the age of 28. The nation is in morning for over a month. April 14, 1041- Queen Peig rules that King Breeden's Lord Viceroy, Caleb O'Toule, will rule for the next 13 years, when Prince Patrick would turn 18, and be able to become King. January 11, 1044- Population is now 3767 Smaragaid-2043, Breedensbaile- 523, Eemrallahba- 628, Nua Luimneach- 224, rural-249 January 11, 1049- Population is now 4549 Smaragaid-2455, Breedensbaile-629, Eemrallahba- 727, Nua Luimneach- 325, rural- 313 February 2, 1050- Migamesh becomes High King over the Korrkan. He invades the southern tribes of Karaki. February 27, 1050- the Karaki recognize Migamesh as their king. March 15, 1050- King Migamesh orders the destruction of all the Emralhdan missions. March 31, 1050- Mig's orders have been carried out. over 100 were killed. April 3, 1050- Lord Caleb calls on the Lord Generals to raise up an army to revenge the murder of the Emralhdans. April 29, 1050- Mig's men raid and pillage Nua Luimneach. Kill over 150, and burn most of the town. May 2, 1050- The Emralhdan Army sails for Mig's capital, Migalma. May 9, 1050- the Emralhdan Army arrives at Migalma. Battle of Migalma begins May 14, 1050- King Migamesh is injured. His son, Migarman, comes and negotiates. The Arrani agree to give Emralhda the land of Karkala, the southern half of Karaki, where most of the pro-Emralhdan Arrani tribes are. May 15, 1050- Migamesh dies, and Migarman becomes king. War is over. June 9, 1050- Lord Caleb decrees that all the lands of Karkala, which are to be hencforth known as Ciarrai, after the settlement of Ciarrai (Kerry), founded by the Emralhdan missionaries. Also decrees that the pagan religions of the Karaki are forbidden. April 3, 1052- Missionaries to Keeltica report that both of the kingdoms have converted to Christianity. January 13, 1054- Population of Emralhda- 14,089. Data for the cites was lost April 10, 1054- the aging king of western Keeltica, King Charrals, gives his daughter, Kaylin, to be married to Prince Patrick. In the agreement, he says that once he dies, his kingdom shall turn over to his future son-in-law, Patrick. May 1, 1054- Princess Kaylin arrives in Eemrallahba with her father. May 4, 1054- Prince Patrick and Princes Kaylin are married in the Riseaglais May 9, 1054- Prince Patrick and Pricess Kaylin are crowned King and Queen of Emralhda. June 4, 1054- King Patrick unveils his plans for what he had dubbed Nua Smaragaid. He calls for a major enlargement of both the Rishalla and the Riseaglais, and calls for a 10 story tower of stone be built and called Breedenstur (Breeden's Tower), in honor of his father, in the center of Riscearnóg. Construction begins later that month June 20, 1054- King Charrals dies, and Emralhda takes over the western Keeltish kingdom. August 10, 1054- King Patrick founds Port An tSionainn (Port Shannon), on the Inis de Keeltica. June 14, 1055- Queen Kaylin gives birth to Prince Karls September 9, 1056- Lord Caleb, the Lord Viceroy to the King, and the last of the original 10 who came from Ireland, dies. He is burried in the Vale of the Golden Emeralds, where King Breeden and his mother were burried. March 1, 1058- King Patrick gives the Governor of Keeltica the title of Duke of An tSionainn. Appoints 3 more dukes, one over Ciarrai, Nua Luimneach, and over Karlsbaile (the Emralhdan name for Charralseig, the capital of the western Keeltish kingdom). January 7, 1059- National population at 29,674. Data for cities was lost. October 3, 1062- King Migarman was killed by a rival warlord Nugara, from Karaki. January 9, 1064- National population is at 31, 094. May 1, 1067- Nugara wins the 5 year civil war and takes control of the Arrani. May 9, 1067- Emralhdan settlers found Nua Béal Feirste (New Belfast), on the Inis de Uladh (Ilse of Ulster, named after the Irish County) January 15, 1069- National pop at 32,183. April 4, 1072- Founding of Nua Baile Átha Cliath (New Dublin), on the Boru Penninusla, which juts of the Inis de Gaillimh. January 18, 1074- National Population at 34, 291. January 20, 1074- King Patrick orders that national census will only be taken every 10 years, at the begining of every decade, thereby cancelling the 1079 census. April 14, 1074- Prince Karls is betrothed to Princed Ciarra, of the Eastern Keeltish Kingdom, Keelisa. June 1, 1075, Prince Karls marries Princess Ciarra. King Cimon promises his kingdom when he dies to Emralhda. January 15, 1076- Duke of Eemrallahba offically renames the city Emralhd Cuan (Emerald Bay). By this time, over 40 years after King Breeden arrived on the Inis de Emralhd, the Keeltish tounge, which was spoken by more citizens than gaelic, had begun to effect even gaelic itself, borrowing many words from Keeltish, including the word for Emerald. However, the capital, Emerald City, was always offically know as Smaragaid. January 29, 1080- population is at 37, 105 April 3, 1083- King Cimon dies. the Kingdom of Keelisa is made a part of Emralhda. King Patrick appoints a Duke over the eastern kingdom, the Duke of Keelisa. March 17, 1088, King Patrick declares a holy crusade against the 'unholy' people of Arrania, ruled by King Nugara. April 14, 1088- the Emralhdan army has 'liberated' all of the Karaki land ruled by the northerners. August 18, 1088- King Patrick is injured, and returns home. His lead Lord General is able to soon rap up the end of the war. September 1, 1088- Treaty of Aran (the Emralhdan word for Arrania) is signed. All lands belonging to the Karaki tribes is to be turned over and added to the Duchy of Ciarrai. February 8, 1089- King Patrick dies of complications due to his injury. He is burried in the Vale of the Golden Emeralds. February 12, 1089- Prince Karls is crowned King Patrick II. February 28, 1089- King Patrick II calls for a council of all the Dukes and lords, for redistribution and additions of titles.

February 28, 1089- King Patrick II calls for a council of all the Dukes and lords, for redistribution and additions of titles. Makes the Lord General of Breedensbaile the Lord General of the Inis de Emralhd. Makes the Lord General of Smaragaid the Lord General of Ciarrai. January 27, 1090- Population is at 82,942. March 17, 1091- King Patrick II is crowned Emperor Patrick I, and the Kingdom of Emralhda becomes the Empire of Emralda (note, this is when the ‘h’ in Emralhda is dropped). The Empire becomes known as the Emrald Empire. July 13, 1095- King Nugara invades northern Ciarrai. The Lord General of Ciarrai, along with the Duke of Ciarrai, lead a counter attack. This fight soon draws the attention of the rest of the Empire. July 21, 1095- Emperor Patrick calls on the whole Empire to help deflect the invaders. Although the Ciarraians are holding on, they are slowly being pushed back. August 3, 1095- Emperor Patrick arrives with the first relief wave of men to help the Ciarranians. October 4, 1095- the Emperor and the army have finally repelled the invaders from Ciarrai. They have now begun and invasion of Arrania, seeking to conquer the one enemy of the Empire once and for all. January 3, 1096- Half of Korrka is under the Imperial rule. January 12, 1096- Seige of Migalma begins. February 18, 1096- King Nugara is able to escape. February 20, 1096- Migalma falls to Imperial Forces. Emperor Patrick orders the entire city burnt to the ground. March 13, 1096- Imperial forces catch up to Nugara, who is hiding out in what is known as Nugarasbaile. The Battle of Nugarasbaile begins. March 17, 1096- Imperial forces rush the town/fort, and capture Nugara. The village is burned to the ground, and Nugara and his leader are executed. March 31, 1096- Emperor Patrick and his troops arrive victorious in Smaragaid. April 9, 1096- Emperor Patrick appoints the son of the Duke of Ciarrai over Korrk, as the Duke of Corcaigh, and appoints the Lord General of Ciarrai as Lord General of Corcaigh, with his son filling the place of Lord General of Ciarrai. April 20, 1096- Emperor Patrick holds a grand ball at the Rishalla, which has finally been completed, along with all the other projects started by his father. May 4, 1096- Emperor Patrick begins construction on his Summer Palace in New Dublin. June 11, 1097- Prince Brian marries Eilis, daughter of the Duke of Ciarrai. May 14, 1099- Princess Eilis gives birth to Prince Rodhlann January 19, 1100- Population- 157,984. August 19, 1105- Emperor Patrick dedicates the Summer Palace in New Dublin, which is the Empires second largest City. January, 23, 1110- Population 189,398 March 17, 1114- Emperor Patrick decrees that New Dublin shall be the Empire’s second capital. January 28, 1120- Population: 197,854 June 1, 1121- Prince Rodhlann marries Mary, daughter of the Duke of Corcaigh March 7, 1122- Princess Mary gives birth to Prince Liam June 14, 1127- Emperor Patrick, 65, dies of old age. He is buried with his ancestors in the Vale of the Golden Emeralds. June 20, 1127- Prince Brian, 50, is crowned Emperor Patrick II. January 19, 1130- Population 201, 369 March 16, 1131- Corcaigh Uprising. 15, 000 natives uprise agianst the Imperial government. The Duke and Duchess of Corcaigh are bruttaly killed. Emperor Patrick II issues a Imperial Call to Arms to repress this rebellin. March 21, 1131- Patrick II arrives in Corcaigh. The rebesl have taken control of the Dukes castle. A seige begins. April 3, 1131- Imperial forces attempt to storm the Castle. They fail. However, Patrick II is injured in the attack and taken hostage. April 4, 1131- Rebels order that if the Imperial forces don't leave Corcaigh, they will execute the Emperor. April 6, 1131- Imperials pull out. April 9, 1131- Lord Viceroy of the Emperor issues an Imperial order that relinquishes control of Corcaigh to the rebels. April 12, 1131- Prince Rodhlann and the Lord General of Inis Emrald are outraged. they storm Smaragaid and have the Lord Viceroy arrested for treason. Prince Rodlhann, by decree, assumes temporary control of the Empire, and begins to plot with the Lord General Blake how to free Emperor Patrick II April 24- 1131- Emperor Patrick II is executed in Corcaigh, in a settlement called Nua Migalma. His body arrives in the Empire 8 days later. May 13, 1131- Emperor Patrick II is burried in the Vale of the Golden Emeralds, alongside his father. May 15, 1131- Prince Rodhlann is crowned Emperor Patrick III. Issues an imediate Call to Full Arms, requireing every ablebodied man to be called up to put down the rebelion. June 9, 1131- Imperial forces cross the border into Corcaigh. June 24, 1131- Imperial forces, led by Emperor Patrick III, surround Nua Migalma. July 18, 1131- Nua Migalma is forced to surrender, expecting a semi benevolent treatment. Instead, Emerpor Patrick III orders everyone within the village killed. Orders the Lord Governor to take full control of Corcaigh until 1135. Orders the military to seek out and distroy all of the temples and other pagan worship places that had sprung up, after being suppressed By Patrick I. Orders to have any and all that supported the rebelion killed, and rewards those how point them out. He wants this rebelion to die, with no chance of revival. July 26, 1131- Emperor Patrick III returns to Smaragaid to a big welcome. He and Blake are both hailed as heros. Blake is still in Corcaigh, securing Imperial control. August 9, 1131- Strange disease breaks out in Corcaigh. Lord General Blake, of Inis Emerald, orders his troops to return, by sea. August 12, 1131- First soldier dies while returning home. The Corcaigh Plague has by this time claimed over 25 people in Corcaigh. August 16, 1131- Emperor Patrick III travels to New Dublin to see his wife and children, who were still in the process of preparing to move to Smaragaid. August 18, 1131- the fleet arives in Nua Luimneach, there have been 5 deaths since the first. total of 40 dead in Corcaigh. August 22, 1131- first death in Nua Luimneach. 60 people now dead in Corcaigh. September 1, there have been 30 deaths on Inis Emerald, 10 in Smaragaid. over 130 have died in Corcaigh, and 10 in Ciarrai. September 9, 1131- Emperor Patrick III learns of the deaths. His advisors suggest ordering a quaranteen to save the rest of the Empire. Patrick III says that they will wait one month. September 11, 1131- Lord General of Corcaigh dies. there have been 343 reported deaths in Corcaigh. 50 in Ciarrai and 60 in Inis Emerald. Fear of the plague worsens, and the other lands refuse to accept ships from the infected islands. September 26, 1131- Lord General Blake dies. September 29, 1131- Duke of Ciarrai dies. There have been a national total of 2489 deaths. 1003 in Corcaigh, 706 in Ciarrai, and 780 on the Inis Emerald. September 30, 1131- Emperor Patrick III orders a 1 year quaranteen over the entire Empire, orders that the local Dukes are incharge of each island for that 1 year, and that the Captial be moved to New Dublin. December 1, 1131- nearly 1/3 of Inis Emerald is dead. Close to 1/2 in both Ciarrai and Corcaigh. No deaths have been reported outside of the infected islands. April 1, 1132- Close to half of the people of Inis Emerald is dead. Close to 2/3 are dead in Ciarrai, and 3/4 in Corcaigh. April 29, 1132- Last reported death occurs in Breedensbaile. May 18, 1132- Duchess Cassandra, the daughter of the late Duke of Nua Luimneach, is able to restore order on most of Inis Emerald. May 29, 1132- Liam McPharland, son of the late Lord General of Ciarrai, is able to restor order in the south. McPharland gives the order for the bodies and homes and physical property of the deceased to be burnt all throught Ciarrai. June 11, 1132- Defying the quaranteen orders, Duchess Cassandra sends an envoy to Ciarrai. Through this she learns of the burning order given by McPharland, and issues the same in Inis Emerald. June 29, 1132- Lord Liam sends men north to Corcaigh. Orders them to burn all the dead they see along the way. July 19, 1132- Emperor Patrick III learns of the end of the Plague. Orders a small band of men to go to Nua Luimneach to investigate. July 27, 1132- Imperial men arrive in Nua Luimneach, and are seen by the Duchess. August 6, 1132- Word reaches Nua Luimneach of the devastation of Corcaigh. over 3/4 are dead. most of the cities are diserted. Lord Liam has claimed control of the whole island, and has ordered his troops to burn most everything, to make sure the disease does not rekindle. Whole towns were found dead. Lord Liam has ordered that no one is to enter or exit Corcaigh, except his men, who have to burn all that they wore in to the area. August 27, 1132- Imperial men leave Nua Luimneach, and head to Ciarrai to meet with Lord Liam. There they learn even more of the devistation of Corcaigh. September 12, 1132- Imperial men leave Ciarrai for New Dublin. arrive 7 days later, on the 19th. September 30, 1132- Emperor Patrick III issues an Imperial Edict, lifting the quaranteen on the uninfected islands, and on the Inis Emerald. A semi quaranteen is left of Ciarrai, requireing them to travel only to Inis Emerald, and from their they could travel to the rest of the empire. However, a full quaranteen is still in effect on Corcaigh. October 18, 1132- Emperor Patrick III grants the title of Lord Governor General upon Liam McPharland, putting him in full control of the Inis de Arran. October 21, 1132- Emperor Patrick III orders for a special census to be taken to learn the extent of the loss January 19, 1133- 25812 dead in Ciarrai, 29038 dead in Corcaigh, 24792 dead on Inis de Emerald, total of 79, 642 dead. National population is at 126, 986 March 14, 1135- Emperor Patrick III legaly separats Ulahd and Gaillimh. With the foundation of the settlement of Gaillimh, on the Islands north shore, the Emperor appoints a Duke of Gaillimh. Appoints a Lord Judge of Gaillimh, and a Lord General of Gaillimh, and makes the Lord Judge of Ulahd and Gaillimh just over Ulahd, and makes the Lord General of Ulahd and Gaillimh the Lord General of Uladh. May 19, 1139- Emperor Patrick III appoints a new Lord General of Corcaigh, and appoints a new Lord Judge of Corcaigh, along with a new Duke of Corcaigh. Then appoints Lord Governor General Liam to the position of Duke of Ciarrai, and appoints another as Lord General of Ciarrai. The Lord Judge surrvived the plague. This ends the short whole rule of the Inis de Arran May 22, 1139- Emperor Patrick III, by royal decree, renames the Inis de Emerald the Inis de Luimneach, and puts the Duchess of Nua Luimneach as the ruler of the whole island. She becomes the Duchess of Luimneach. January 19, 1140- National Population at 179, 974. June 13, 1142- Prince Liam, son of the Emperor, marries the daughter of the Duke of An tSionainn, Lenora May 31, 1143- Princess Lenora gives birth to Prince Owen January 17, 1150- Natioanl population 193, 341 January 18, 1160- National population 208, 467 June 9, 1165- Prince Owen marries the daughter of the Duchess of Luimneach, Karra April 8, 1166- Princess Karra gives birth to Prince Breeden April 15, 1167- Emperor Patrick III colapses. April 19, 1167- Emperor Patrick III dies, and is burried outside of New Dublin. He is the first of the Boru Dynasty not to be burried near Smaragaid. Smaragaid is in very bad disrepair, especially the Rishalla, which hasn't been lived in in over 30 years. The same with the Riseaglais. The Royal Library is ok, because of the sole surviving Librarian and his son. the poulation of Smaragaid, which had ben at near 7-8 thousand, was now only about 3-4 hundred (partly because of the plague, partly because of the move of the capital) April 24, 1167- Prince Liam is crowned Emperor Patrick IV. He immediately orders that Smaragaid be reinstated as Secondary capital and Imperial retreat. Orders the renovation of the whole city. Population soars to nearly 4,000 with all the workers employed. May 7, 1167- The palace has been fully renivated, and work on the Riseaglais is nearly complete. The Pope of the Emeraldian Catholic Church plans on rededicating the church. May 12, 1167- Emperor Patrick IV holds a grand Ball in Smaragaid at the palace, and hosts as his special guest Pope Sean I, who will dedicate the church in 2 days. May 14, 1167- Pope Sean I rededicates the Riseaglais. August 9, 1167- renovation of Smaragaid is complete. Population is now at about 2000 people. January 23, 1170- National Census is at 212, 675 August 9, 1175- Emperor Patrick IV dies, and is buried in the Vale of the Emeralds. August 23, 1175- Prince Owen is crowned Emperor Patrick V in the Riseaglais in Smaragaid. However, soon there after he moves his capital to New Dublin. Although his son and wife occasionally visit Smaragaid, the Emperor will never again set foot in the city. January 19, 1180- National Census, pop at 219, 139 May 19, 1185- Prince Breeden marries Duaghter of the Duke of Galway, Ariana. Janurary 18, 1190- Census, National population is 226, 358 September 4, 1194- Emperor Patrick V dies. He is buried in the Vale. September 11, 1194- Prince Breeden is crowned Emperor Patrick VI. June 1, 1195- Empress Ariana gives birth to Prince Aaron. May 3, 1197- Emperor Patrick VI dies suddenly of an illness. May 17, 1197- Empress Ariana dies of the same illness. Lord Viceroy Sheamus Pierce, who has come down with the unknown illness and is soon to die, appoints Prince Aaron’s uncle, the Duke Sean of Galway, as Emperor, until Prince Aaron’s 21 birthday, at which time he shall assume the throne. The Duke is crowned Emperor Sean I. June 3, 1197- Emperor Sean orders his nephew to be locked up in Smaragaid, and orders that the Royal Palace become his prison. Publicly, Emperor Sean says that his nephew died with his parents. January 23, 1200- National Population at 231, 248 January 24, 1210- National Population at 238, 247 May 1, 1215- Dukes of Limerick, Kerry, and Port Shannon meet in New Limerick to discuss the possible attempt to overthrow Emperor Sean, who has been extremely evil and oppressive. May 19, 1215- Duke of Limerick, Brandon O’Wray, declares that he is the Emperor of Emralda. The Duke of Kerry and Port Shannon support him. Civil War erupts. May 29, 1215- ‘Emperor Brandon marches into Smaragaid, and tears down the Banner of Emperor Sean. When he occupies the Royal Palace, he discovers Prince Aaron, who is eager to help fight. By now he knows of his uncles treachery, and wishes to help restore his kingdom. Emperor Breeden ‘denounces’ his throne, and declares that he is the Lord Viceroy of Prince Aaron, the Rightful heir to the throne. July 3, 1215- Brandon’s coalition of troops meet the Imperial Army for the first time in battle, near Port Shannon. It is a great victory for the Coalition. October 9, 1215- the last of the Imperial Army is forced of the Inis de Keltica. November 1, 1215, the Duke of Cork joins the Coalition. January 12, 1216- Coalition forces land in Ulster, and occupies New Dublin and Diore. March 2, 1216- Coalition forces, led by Lord Brandon and Prince Aaron, land near New Dublin, and soon seal the city off from the rest of Galway. March 11, 1216- New Dublin is surrounded. March 17, 1216- Prince Aaron is paraded through the streets of New Dublin. Emperor Sean has fled by sea. April 1, 1216- Duke of Galway pledges alligance to Prince Aaron. April 13, 1216- ‘Emperor’ Sean is apprehended in the Galwian country side. May 2, 1216- Sean stands trial in New Dublin, and is found guilty of treason. May 31, 1216, Sean is executed in New Dublin. June 1, 1216- Prince Aaron is crowned Emperor Patrick VII. June 18, 1216- Emperor Patrick marries the daughter of Lord Brandon, Eilis. July 9, 1216- an earthquake rocks much of the Inis de Limerick, and is felt throughout the empire. Smaragaid is cut off from the rest of the Empire. The Emrald River stops flowing, and dries up. When rescue parties are sent in to help, they can not find away into the Valley. April 12, 1218- Empress Eilis gives birth to Princess Lenora. August 1, 1219, Empress Eilis dies in child birth with Princess Kassandra January 21, 1220- National Population is at 242, 198 April 19, 1222- Emperor Patrick VII marries the daughter of the Duke of Kerry, Cara. January 21- 1223- Empress Cara dies in child birth with Prince Nathaniel. January 19, 1230- National Population is at 247, 451 April 28, 1233- Emperor Patrick VII creates the House of Lords, a governing body made up of all the nobility (Dukes, Lord Generals, and Lord Judges). Mostly, the men send their sons to represent them. The HL meets for 2 months out of the year, from March to May. January 27, 1240- National Population at 252, 369 June 12, 1247- Emperor Patrick VII dies. Prince Nathaniel is crowned Emperor Patrick VIII. July 19, 1247- Emperor Patrick VIII marries the Daughter of the Duke of Port Shannon, Claire. August 13, 1248- Empress Claire gives birth to Prince Breeden January 18, 1250- National Population at 258, 497 March 13, 1253- Dukes force Emperor Patrick VIII to sceed a great amount of his authority to the House of Lords. January 14, 1260- National Population at 263, 199 August 12, 1267- Duke of Limerick declares war on Duke of Port Shannon, who calls for aid from the Duke of Karlsbaile. Emperor Patrick VIII tries to call up the military to fix the problem, but they are repelled by Duke of Limerick. May 1, 1268- Duke of Limerick takes control of Port Shannon, kills the Duke of Port Shannon. Patrick VIII is outraged at the murder of his father in law, but is now powerless to stop what is happening. Two days previous, the House of Lords voted to revoke the Imperial Military call up right. Patrick VIII has to sit by and watch as the Dukes take over the Empire. January 15, 1270- National Population is at266, 121 April 13, 1275- Emperor Patrick VIII dies. April 16, 1275- Prince Breeden is Crowned Emperor Patrick IX. June 13, 1275- Emperor Patrick IX marries the daughter of the Duke of Galway, Mary April 6, 1276- Empress Mary gives birth to Princess Claire, named in honor of the Empress Mother, Claire of Shannon. January 30, 1280- National Population is at 270, 159 January 24, 1290- National Population is at 275, 598 February 2, 1298- Emperor Patrick IX and the Duke of Galway begin to plot how to overthrow the ever powerful House of Lords. June 13, 1298- Duke of Limerick learns of the Imperial plot, and rallies the Duke of Kerry and the Duke of Cork to his aid. They launch a rebellion to kill Emperor Patrick IX. By this point most of the Dukes would rather not have to answer to an Imperial throne, but each be separate. September 19, 1298- Seperatist forces occupy Ulster. The Duke of Kerry kills the Duke of Ulster, and claims that the Island is a colony of the Kingdom of Kerry. This is the first instance where the rebel dukes refer to their Duchies as Kingdoms. December 17, 1298- After much Pressure, the Duke of Karlsbaile publicly denounces it’s alligance to Emperor Patrick IX February 12, 1299- Seperatist forces land in Galway, halfway between Galway City and New Dublin. March 1, 1299- the ‘King of Limerick’ and the ‘King of Kerry’ are about 10 miles away from New Dublin. March 6, 1299- The ‘Grand Duke’ of Karlsbaile lands his army just east of New Dublin, and begins his march on the capital. March 10, 1299- The Duke of Galway and his army are able to surprise the Limerick/Kerry army, and prevent then from helping the Karlsbaile army from being able to take the city of New Dublin. March 16, 1299- Duke of Galway is killed. March 18, 1299- Seige of New Dublin begins. April 19, 1299- City of New Dublin falls. Rebel armies surround the Royal Complex, and lay siege to it. May 14, 1299- King of Limerick is able to finally break thorugh the palace walls, and soon apprehends Emperor Patrick IX, Empress Mary, and Princess Claire May 15, 1299- Emperor Patrick IX signs an agreement placeing the Empire in the control of the King of Limerick. May 16, 1299- the King of Limerick orders that Emperor Patrick IX, who is now being referred to as Breeden Boru II, and his family, are to be exiled to the Inis de Ulster. June 4, 1299- the King of Limerick decrees that the Empire of Emeraldia (the second ‘e’ and the ‘i’ has been picked up by this time.) is hereby dissolved, and each of the individual dukes is in charge of their territory directly. The Duke of Cork, the King of Kerry, the King of Limerick and West Keltica, the Grand Duke of Karlsbaile, and the Lord General of Galway (who is know being called the Duke) sign a treaty stating the boundaries of all the kingdoms/ duchies. February 3, 1300- Each of the kingdoms bring in their national censuses, with the total being 279, 374 May 4, 1306- The Kingdom of Kerry establishes a House of Lords June 6, 1307- The Kingdom of Limerick establishes a House of Nobles, October 13, 1308- Colony of Ulster requests that they be given seats in the Kerry House of Lords. King of Kerry refuses. March 14, 1309- Duke of Ulster declares that Ulster is independent of from the Kingdom of Kerry, and sets fire to the Kings barracks. March 17, 1309- King of Kerry orders his military to go and put down the rebellion. March 27, 1309- Kerrian forces arrive in Diore, and set fire to the city. March 29, 1309- Kerrian forces meet the Ulsterian forces halfway between Diore and New Belfast. The Ulsterians are horribly defeated. March 31, 1309- Kerrian army arrives in New Belfast. Duke of Ulster is arrested. King of Kerry arrives 2 days later April 4, 1309- Duke of Ulster and his family are executed in the public square in New Belfast. June 17, 1309- Duke of Galway declares that he is the King of Galway. He appoints several Dukes and Lords, including one over the know much smaller city of New Dublin, which has been severely reduced after the civil war. Most of the city is now one the ‘imperial’ peninsula, abandoning the older settlement on the main part of the island. The Imperial palace is now occupied by the Duke of New Dublin. The locals have been picking apart much of the Imperial complex to use for their own buildings. However, the Duke has commissioned local architects to begin construction on a new cathedral for the city, to be called St. Patrick’s Cathedral. March 13, 1312- War breaks out between the Kingdom of Kerry and the Kingdom of Cork. May 4, 1312- 1st Arrani war ends, in a draw. October 14, 1322- the Kingdom of Limerick invades Grand Duchy of Karlbaile. Takes over half of the Grand Dukes territory. February 4, 1330- Emeraldian total population is at 285, 371 May 14, 1342- Duke of Karlsbaile moves to liberate his occupied territories. At the same time, the citizens of Port Shannon rebel against the King of Limerick. They are quickly able to take control of the city. Karlsbailen army is able to link up with the Shannonites. May 28, 1342- Limrickian troops land near Port Shannon. May 31, 1342- The rebels face the Limerickian army outside of Port Shannon. June 5, 1342- King of Limerick takes Port Shannon, and burns it to the ground. June 21, 1342-The King of Limerick and the Grand Duke of Karlsbaile meet in battle near the border of the Duchy. The Limerickians are defeated, and fall back on the old Dukes castle in Port Shannon, the only structure untouched after the fall of the city to the King’s men. July 1, 1342- The Duke of Karlsbaile surrounds the city with his army. A siege begins. July 6, 1342- In a direct charge on the fortress, the Duke is killed. The Army collapses. July 20, 1342- Limerickian army is able to take control of the whole of western Keltica, and drives the rest of the Karlsbailites back to the Duchy. The Duke’s son is now in charge, and sues for peace. April 14, 1347- The Grand Duke of Karlsbaile declares himself King, and that the Duchy of Karlsbaile is now the Kingdom of Keltica. May 12, 1348- The Kingdom of Keltica and the Kingdom Galway signs a pact establishing the Kingdom of Keltica as an unofficial protectorate of the Kingdom of Galway. August 13, 1350- total population of Emeraldia is 291, 195 March 16, 1363- 2nd Arrani war breaks out. April 27, 1363- 2nd Arrani war ends, with the Kingdom of Cork as the victors. The Colony of Ulster is occupied, and made a part of the Kingdom of Cork. June 8, 1364- The Kigndom of Cork establishes the House of Nobles, and grants the Colony of Ulster a seat in the HN. April 17, 1368- The Kingdom of Galway establishes the House of Lords May 6, 1368- The Kingdom of Keltica establishes the House of Dukes.
