Citizens of the United Kingdom of Luthoria,
We have entered into yet another population/ activity crisis. We cannot, with our current level of citizens and activity levels, sustain the constitutionally mandated government. So, I hereby decree that the constitution (again) be put on indefinite hiatus, and that the country be placed under a rule-by-decree form of government. Mr. Blake will serve as Royal Chancellor, Prince Brian will serve as Grand Marshal of the Armed Forces. These two gentlemen will make up the Privy Council, Luthoria's new rulling body.
For those of you who feel that I am ignoring democratic principles, if, at any time, a citizen (or group of citizens) feels that the people need to be heard, they can call for a assemblying of the National Assembly, and if one of the members of the Privy Council seconds the call, the National Assembly will be conveined.
This goes into effect immediately. More will follow on the details of this operation later in the week.
