Ladies and Gentlemen,
Since most citizens of this Kingdom are also citizens of the Kingdom of Streudelburg, I have been speaking with the Streudel Prime Minister about a merger between our two countries. The Streudel Parliament is voting on this as we speak, and the merger motion is expected to pass.
To oversee our side of the merger, i hereby create the Bureau of Merger Affairs.
The Streudel's have agreed to allow their culture to be less dominant than our Hawaiian culture. However, I believe that (after speaking with some former citizens of Emeraldia that were not wanting a hawaiian culture to replace their old nation) that instead of forcing a dominant Hawaiian culture, we should become a multicultural state. We will of course keep our Hawaiian culture, but also allow for the irish, german, and other cultures to be more dominant. The BMA will oversee this.
