I must protest as the the voting! The motion was made to have a Constitutional Convention and dissolve the government all at the same time. It was not two separate motions so it should not be two separate votes!

I am sorry. I know that you may have an issue with this, but the king and I felt that it needed to be done this way. They were one motion, but two seperate issues.
This is not the end of the world. All you need to do is vote twice.

It does not matter what you felt, but what should be done. If something is motioned together then it is voted on together. The only exception would be if it was in the motion that they be voted on separately.

Mr. Bishop,
I am not going to argue the matter. It may have been one motion. However, they were two issues. It will stand the way it is.
If you have any issues you can challenge the out come of the votes.

I will make a claim in the court. I motioned for one vote and I got two.

Your motion passed. The government is to be dissolved, and we are to hold a constituional convention. As soon as a convention speaker is elected, the court will cease to exist anyway.

But that is not the point. I am glad that the motion passed, but the way it was handled was wrong.

Well, at this point, there isn't much that can be done, besides try to establish more defined procedures for the Parliament (or what ever legislative body emerges) during the convention.

Ok, but I do not think this kind of behavior should be tolerated from anyone in the government.
