Ladies and Gentlemen,
I, Mo'i Kakali I, King of Luthoria, hereby bestow the title of 'Barun' upon Defense Minister Kilikopela Oscarmeyer. As of today, he shall be known as Barun Kilikopela, of Stavinia (the second largest city in the Province of Brandenburg).
Mahalo!

You do realize that I was/am the Queen's son. The only child so far, so I believe that would make me heir to the throne and would rank higher than a 'Barun'.

Mr. Kilikopela,
I am sorry to have to state the obvious but she was/is not Queen in this country. On the authority and the permission of the King I am rescinding the offer of Baron.
Instead you shall be known as Squire, should the title of Baron seem more plausible and appealing now, please let us know and you may keep it, refusal will result in no title being bestowed at all.
Thank you and have a great day!

You are not the King and until the King speaks with me about this your 'authority' is overlooked.

While Mr. Clark's statement could be considered a bit...blunt,he is correct. Mr. Kilikopela, while I understand that you were a prince in Streudelburg, your mother was also Queen. She is not queen here. Be happy with the title of Barun that you recieved. Otherwise......

Mr. Kilikopela,
I am sorry that you feel that I am not in authority, but I would like to remind you that I was elected into this position of "authority" and therefore it can't be over looked.
Secondly, since I am head of the parliment, which controls the title of squire, I would not press the issue or you may end up an ordinary person like the rest of us.
Have a great day!

First of all, from the look of your status you are no longer a ordinary purpose. Second of all, take the title of Barun, when the countries merged the King said he would honor the titles of nobility from Streudelburg, that has not happened and I ask myself, what happened to the King's sense of moral. He never used to lie or at least covered it up better.

Did he come out and say that he would make you a prince? What do you plan to gain from this? Being the prince will give you nothing but a name. It will not make you more powerful or influential than anyone, it will not make you a ruler, nor an heir to any kind of throne, so what is the point? He stated that he would give you a title. He is king, so it is up to him as to which one he gives!
However, If that is what you wish, I hereby revoke the offer of Squire, I will relay your opinion to the King, at which time I am sure that he will revoke the offer of Barun as well.
I would think that a person of nobility would set a better example. Maybe Squire would give you a bit of a humbling lesson, one which sounds to be late in arrival.

Enough!
This statement can be found in the Bureau of Merger Affairs. As you can see, it states that Streudel Royals would be granted MEMBERSHIP in this nation's royal family. It doesn't say anything about specific titles.
If you don't want the title of Barun, that's fine, but you wont get anything higher than that, and very likely wont recieve ANY Upper Nobility title.
So, if I were you, I'd keep the title you have been given.
Aloha!

Mr. Kilikopela, I need an answer. Are you going to keep the title of Barun, or are you going to choose not to have a title?

I have been debating the previous decission to give Mr. Kilikopela the title of Barun, and have decided that he should get the title that he had in Streudelburg. So, I hereby grant Mr. Kilikopela the title of Prince of the Realm.
