Calling Parliament to Order

Citizens of the Kingdom of New Hawaii, I, Mo'i Kakali, King of New Hawaii, hereby call the Royal Parliament of New Hawaii to order. All citizens may vote in Parliament (except for myself).

Now that Parliament is in session, I hereby open the floor of the Parliament for nominations for the position of Prime Minister. Nominations will run from now until Sunday, August 5th, at which time the election for Prime Minister shall begin.

If no one else is interested, then I nominate myself.

I nominate Aedan Clark.

If Mr. Clark is elected Prime Minister, then I withdraw my citizenship.

Just as a reminder, elections will begin tomorrow afternoon. Nominations are open until tomorrow, should anyone else wish to make a nomination. Also, this session (and therefore the term for this Prime Minister) is only for 1 month, and then we will begin the regular three month term in September.
