I should have asked this sooner, but Emeraldia Day is coming up on November 6 (next Tuesday), and I have no idea how we should celebrate. Any ideas?

I think we should just have a memorial.

A Gaelic festival, followed by a fireworks display.

Right, becuase this is isn't an online nation and we can produce fireworks. I say that each of the people that were involved with Emeraldia, say something about their favorite memories followed by a moment of silence to remember the good times.

Use your head. (for once) we create an image and post it in the ceremony area, that is the display.
Also, if you liberal mind, can move past one dimensional thinking for a moment, we can create a flash banner that shows the display, much like the ad banner currently running.

if you can create the flash banner, Prince Aedan, please do so, it would be much appreciated. I also like the idea of each person saying their favorite memories about Emeraldia.

I do not like these personal attacks. I have done nothing in this board to cause you any kind of pain and I request that you please stop these personal attacks.

Learn to take a joke, you do the same thing on other boards to all of us.
Get over it.

No normally only to those who deserve it.

So since you do it to everyone, that means that everyone deserves it?
Anyway, I am dropping out of this discussion, it is pointless.
I can't make the banner in time, we only have a few days, so we will have to settle for the long winded speeches.

Well since you think that they are long winded, I do not expect to see your input and now we see how you truly think about celebrating our history. "pointless"
Thanks for all the help,

I think it is a great idea, but I mainly think that the planning of this event should have started weeks ago.
Goading me will not get me arguing again. We just need to move forward.

I am beginning to wonder if we are a nation full of semi-mature adults or petty third grade girls the way everyone is arguing. I think the best way we could remember Emeraldia and celebrate is by growing up a bit and actually treating each other as equals and not dirt beneath our feet. I mean, who in their right mind would want to come and visit Luthoria with the way everyone is attacking each other constantly in all forums? I say it is high time we put EVERY issue behind us and start over again as GENTLEmen and Ladies!!!
Oh, and the long winded speeches is such a "Lovely," way to remember Emeraldia. I am sure any visitor reading that post can tell how grateful we are for our past!

i was joking when I said long winded. I think it would be good for everyone to post their favorite speeches. If I have time, I am also going to put together an exhibit to take to MNN from the Emepalkia Institute Museum. I may also put the old Emeraldia Banner across the top of this forum tomorrow.
